Robert H. Odell Jr., MD, PhD, is a 1976-graduate of Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California, where he was also awarded his PhD in Biomedical Engineering (1974). A fellow of the Medical Scientist Training Program, he has completed his postgraduate training in anesthesiology (residency) at Harbor/UCLA Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident (1982). Dr. Odell completed his undergraduate education Summa Cum Laude in engineering and liberal arts at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine and holds additional certification in fluoroscopy and radiation safety from the American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians. A member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, and the World Institute of Pain, Dr. Odell is also a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice of the World Institute of Pain.
